  11. I just purchased a nifty little AIWA external (pocket) modem, model
  12. PV-PFV144, for my laptop. It seems to work fine when connecting with
  13. BBS's etc, but keeps generating "COMM ERRORS [OVERRUN]" when I try to
  14. connect with the Internet via Trumpet Winsock. My Internet Access
  15. Provider said that the problem is an incorrect initialization string.
  16. The AIWA manual doesn't state clearly the need for any particular
  17. init. string, and I'm still waiting for a response from their tech
  18. support people. Does anyone own an AIWA modem? If so, what
  19. initialization string do you use?
