- I just purchased a nifty little AIWA external (pocket) modem, model
- PV-PFV144, for my laptop. It seems to work fine when connecting with
- BBS's etc, but keeps generating "COMM ERRORS [OVERRUN]" when I try to
- connect with the Internet via Trumpet Winsock. My Internet Access
- Provider said that the problem is an incorrect initialization string.
- The AIWA manual doesn't state clearly the need for any particular
- init. string, and I'm still waiting for a response from their tech
- support people. Does anyone own an AIWA modem? If so, what
- initialization string do you use?
- Much thanks,
- Riff Gibson
